Dentrix...does anyone know how to use it?
I need help with Dentrix. If anyone has any tips or best way to send claims...any info on it will be great.

It is very easy to send claims but you don't say if you want to send them on paper or electronically. You should have a users manuel which Dentrix provides when you purchase their software. Also, if your Dr. purchased a support agreement, you can call Dentrix and they will walk you right through this task. You can also have a certified trainer come to your office and teach you how to use the different modules. That's what I would recommend. As for sending the claims, I was going to tell you how to do it, but as I started, I realized that without knowing what information you already have, I can't. There are steps to entering the insured person, the patient, the actual insurance company information, payment tables, annual maximums, deductables etc. Then you need to enter the charges and do the insurance billing from the patient ledger. It's not that it's hard, you just have to have the right info entered before you start. See if your boss will spring for some in office training. Their trainers are very qualified. I wish I knew what area you are in and I could help you. Also, if you don't have "Trojan" for your insurance information, I would suggest getting it. It works great with Dentrix and saves alot of work.
