I've been getting these spots...??
They only come in winter time and they start out as a really rough circle and they itch. Then...in a month or so, they fade away and leave a white mark like there is no pigment there. I'm sure it's some sort of dry skin, but I've tried everything and nothing works. Anyone got any ideas about what it could be or how to get rid of them? Additional Details2 weeks agoas for the Tinea versicolor, i looked this up in yahoo images...and this is it. Some of the pics are pretty severe and my isn't that bad, i have 5 spots about the size of a dime on my back and 2 on my right arm. I'm def. going to try the selsun blue. Thanks so much everyone!

its probably tinea versicolor, but its most common in humid conditions so its odd that u get it in the winter. It due to a superficial skin fungus, the way i was taught to treat is with some selsun blue, lather it over the affected area for 15 minutes once a day for 1 week or 3xD for 2-4 wks, should help if not go to your Dr/PA and get an antifungal cream that has stronger potency. to get the pigment back you have to tan yourself.
