I had to take steroid because of some medical problem.i gain 5KG DURING THE TREATMENT. CAN IT BE REVERSE?HOW?

Weight gain during some medical treatments is not uncommon. The benefit of good health or recovery will enable you to return to a healthy lifestyle after the treatment.

In the meantime, talk to your physician as they know what you will be able to safely do to avoid some of the weight gain..Presumably, it is water retention that is part of the problem.... Limit sweet drinks like soda, watch your calorie intake and eat a balanced diet that is high in fiber, fruit, vegetables and protein. Watch your portion sizes and work with your doctor to create a meal plan that will keep you healthy during treatment. If you are able to perform some exercises as well, that would also be beneficial.... again, the emphasis is on your health and safety, without knowing what the treatment was for, the best advice I can provide is to limit portions, and talk to your doctor, that is part of their job, treating you to stay healthy and guiding you while you are in their care.

Hope this helps.
